This interactive, in-person workshop will offer practical techniques and coaching to improve your reading skills and to bring out the writer’s meaning. You will learn the principles and conversational patterns that we use in everyday English, which can be applied whether you are a Reader in your church, presenting readings at a committee meeting, or reading to a family member or patient. Debra will teach by questions and answers and will help you decide the writer’s meaning.
Debra McCook has studied and taught the subject of Analytical Reading for 40 years. She was trained personally by Nedra Newkirk Lamar, the founder of the Institute of Analytical Reading.
