Carol Norton, C.S.D., was called by Mary Baker Eddy in January 1898 to become one of the first five members of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. That same year he attended what was to be the last class taught by Mrs. Eddy. Mr. Norton was a prolific writer and contributed numerous articles and poems to the Christian Science periodicals. In this article, first published in the July 1892 Christian Science Journal, Mr. Norton writes of his experience of finding Christian Science through a remarkable healing. As he put it, “I could hardly realize it; but better than this, yes infinitely better, I had at last found Truth, the ever present Christ, for which I had so long searched.”
