Annie Knott, C.S.D., served the Cause of Christian Science in many capacities, including as a lecturer, editor of the periodicals, member of the Bible Lesson Committee, and member of the Christian Science Board of Directors. She was one of the first women appointed by Mary Baker Eddy to serve on the Christian Science Board of Lectureship during its inaugural year of 1898. Her article “Reminiscences” first appeared in The Christian Science Journal of February 1901. It is one of over 900 contributions to the Christian Science periodicals by Mrs. Knott between 1889 and 1935.
